Psychoanalysis and Human Crossings
"I know life can bring us face-to-face with pain that seems impossible to cross. I offer a space for listening, understanding, and processing these experiences, sustained by psychoanalytic technique."
"When pain finds words, something within us begins to reorganize."
Book an Initial SessionWho is it for
The psychoanalytic practice is an invitation for those who seek to investigate the impasses of their own existence. I offer a space to speak freely, so that we may work together with your mind in the search to untie the knots.
My practice is directed towards adults and adolescents who seek support in crossing stress at work, burnout, the overload of responsibilities, moments of grief, the pressure of anxiety, or the silence of anguish and profound sadness.
An ethical space to name what hurts in the search to reorganize oneself internally.
I provide a confidential and supportive space for thoughtful listening and psychoanalytic exploration, helping you navigate periods of emotional distress and life transitions. Contact me for more information.
The Practice
I believe in a therapeutic space that embraces the complexity and depth of the human experience — where clinical rigour and sensitivity coexist. My practice moves away from technical rigidity to offer a live listening, capable of seeing the subject in all their existential dimensions.
Inspired by Winnicott, a strictly safe and reserved space to give voice to suffering and pressures, promoting internal reorganization.
Deep investigation of the unconscious to map and process the roots of distress, repetitions, and structural conflicts, promoting autonomy and the reconnecting with your truest desire.
Specialized support and high clinical containment for facing significant losses, difficult diagnoses, and major life turnarounds.
"The goal is not to eliminate pain, but to learn to inhabit it differently — and discover that, beneath it, there is a life wanting to be lived."
About Me
"It was at the threshold between death and birth that I found my truest vocation."
Life presented me with one of the most paradoxical crossings anyone can live: grief for my beloved husband arrived at the same pace as my son was announcing himself to the world. As one life departed, another was coming into light. In that horizon between loss and arrival, I learned — with body and soul — what it means to cross the impossible.
Today, this personal crossing is the foundation of every space I offer. I bring not only studies and technical knowledge, but the presence of someone who knows, from within, the strength that exists in every human being — a strength that can emerge from necessity, but also from surrender.
Between the urgencies of the outer world and the complexity of the inner world, psychoanalysis offers a space for pause, elaboration, and the recovery of one's singular meaning.
I believe in psychoanalysis as a field of welcome for moments of rupture, burnout, overload, overwhelm, grief, and profound life transitions. My work is to offer attentive, qualified listening so that you can move through your anguish and draw ever closer to yourself, at your own pace.
My clinical practice is sustained by a twofold foundation. On one side, two decades of experience in high-pressure corporate and international environments, which gave me a keen understanding of performance dynamics, the solitude of leadership, and the impact of emotional overload.
On the other, a personal experience of profound crossing between loss and new beginnings, which transformed my relationship with pain and gave me the foundation for a kind of listening that does not shy away from human suffering. I bring to the practice not only theory, but the steady presence of someone who knows the strength required for rebuilding.
Training in Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychoanalysis (1028h), in accordance with the Brazilian Ministry of Health guidelines. Postgraduate-trained, with a solid academic and professional background, today focused on clinical practice, I work with psychoanalytic listening, conducting processes in a welcoming and careful manner, respecting the pace and the uniqueness of each person.
Echoes of the Crossing
On this journey, what sometimes keeps us standing is knowing that others have also found words for the unspeakable. Here are echoes from real people who have faced grief — phrases born from the need to find breath.
"It will pass, all of this will pass, it won't last forever — hold on just a little longer."
"I just need to endure the pain — simply enduring is already enough."
"It will be alright, not now, but soon it will be."
"Wow, how are you capable of going through all of this!"
"I need to carry on with the greatest dignity and honesty possible, to honour the privilege of having lived by your side."
"Missing you always hurts, but some days it hurts twice as much."
"One day at a time — sometimes, one minute at a time."
"I don't want to think about tomorrow, about anything else — I just want to be able to live today."
Travessia Project
"To speak about death is, ultimately, to speak about life."
The Travessia Project was born from a personal and natural experience of working through the fear of death. Over years of study on the subject, I sought to lose this fear — and then, after the most transformative experience of my life, a new world emerged in my mind, and fear became admiration and love.
This is a space dedicated to exploring what our culture often tries to silence. Here, we bridge the sensitivity of Near-Death Experience (NDE) accounts and the depth of universal spirituality with the rigour of scientific and academic studies.
The mission of Travessia is to offer a safe harbour for those who need to cross this theme with courage and tenderness:
So that people in terminal states may know they do not need to fear the crossing.
To understand the continuity of love and the strength of the bond that remains.
To transform the fear of finitude into a life with more purpose, presence and peace of mind.
